NEW REGION CLUB GOALS (SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM)

Curious about the steps to success?  What should a typical progression look like for you to start a PSA Club?  The following is our suggested progression:

1) Gain interest in PSA from dog sport enthusiasts and decoys locally
2) Generate registered membership with PSA
3) Form and establish a sanctioned PSA club
4) Host a “Welcome to PSA” seminar to learn about PSA from experienced judges, competitors and decoys.
5) Host a decoy certification camp to establish local trial decoys
6) Host a trial
7) Further education and experience by hosting PSA judges, high level competitors, and decoys for training events and seminars.
8) Continue to host trials at least annually and title dogs at higher levels.
9) High level competitors enter the judging apprentice program.
10) Establish a local judge
11) Establish a local senior decoy
12) Mentor new clubs, neighboring countries, and become a regional resource for advancing PSA.
13) Repeat the process in a new country or region, giving back to PSA with your time and experience.
